How do I create a Bybit account?
To create a Bybit account, click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner. Enter your email address, create a strong password, and complete the verification process. You'll also need to complete KYC (identity verification) to access all features.
How do I deposit funds?
Go to "Assets" → "Deposit". Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit, copy the deposit address, and send funds from your external wallet. For fiat deposits, you can use bank transfer or credit card through our partners.
What is the minimum deposit amount?
The minimum deposit amount varies by cryptocurrency. For BTC it's 0.0001 BTC, for ETH it's 0.01 ETH, for USDT it's 10 USDT. Check the deposit page for specific limits for each token.
How long do withdrawals take?
Withdrawals are processed instantly for most cryptocurrencies. However, you should also consider blockchain network confirmations, which may take a few minutes depending on network congestion.
What is 2FA and how do I enable it?
2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) adds an extra layer of security. Go to "Account" → "Security" → "Enable 2FA". You can use Google Authenticator or SMS verification. We strongly recommend enabling it to protect your account.
What fees does Bybit charge?
Bybit has competitive fees: 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker for spot trading, 0.02% maker and 0.055% taker for futures. You can reduce fees by holding VIP status or using our referral program.
How do I reset my password?
Click on "Log In" → "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and follow the instructions sent to your email. You'll receive a link to reset your password.
What is the Insurance Fund?
The Insurance Fund is a pool of funds that protects users from losses due to extreme market volatility or liquidation events. Bybit has a dedicated insurance fund of 300,000 BTC to ensure fair trading.
